Wow, I just realized how long it has been since I wrote on this blog. Not that I have not had anything to write about, I just have not felt too creative. I admire all you out their who writing comes natural too.....you know who you are ;-). If it wasn't for having Angela as a child I would have thought that I was just plain dumb in that department but now I know that there is more to it. (see this older post for more details on that). I don't think creativity is something you can "teach". I think we all have it in us. It is a matter of extracting it from deep in the brain and the soul. For some of us it takes a giant juicer to get it out!!

Anyways, we are surviving up here. Times are tough everywhere so the fact we have a roof over our head, food on our table and each other we are doing awesome. I might be adding a few hours on to my work schedule during the week so that will help also.

The girls are doing good. They are still hard at work in karate and it is definitely getting harder as they work toward their junior black belt. Andy is back to work after his knee surgery. He is still in some discomfort but it is getting better by the day. Not much changes for me. I had to get a cortisone shot in my shoulder for an injury I got at work but it definitely is getting better.

The girls and I are planning a trip home...to Virginia. We are so excited. It has been a few years since we have been their. Abby is especially excited because she will be spending her birthday with the family. Unfortunately Andy won't be able to take work of to come with us but he will have the dogs and other animals to keep him company!!
