Here are some pictures of my beautiful cat Symba who passed away Monday, August 11, 2008. No picture can show his true beauty.
When he was a kitten..so many years ago, he used to climb the curtains to the top and then meow for me to help him down. He would run across the back of the couch...not up it...across it. He was one of the few cats I had ever met that did not really like catnip all that much. His favorite food was....everything. Ok, he did not like fruits or veggies but he begged for every thing else.
He made friends with every human he met. He loved and trusted them all. Even those who did not like cats seemed attracted to Symba.
He was such a beautiful soul. And so are you. I am glad you two found each other and got to spend so many years together. That was one lucky cat. I will try to remember Symba's formula for a good life...eat everything except your vegetables and if you feel you just need to climb the curtains, someone who loves you will help you back down. Very good advice. I will never be able to mimic that incredibly LOUD meow however. That was one of a kind. Thank goodness.
I am...a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend, an educator, a pet owner, a homeowner...lots of things. I am most of all someone who loves her children beyond there understanding, a wife who often feels misunderstood yet loved deeply by my husband, a daughter of the most wonderful parents anyone could ever ask for, a sister and aunt to my loving family, and a friend to some of the most awesome people. Who do I want to be? I want to be a better mother, a more loving wife, a more grateful daughter, a more involved sister and aunt and a better friend. Is all this possible, sure it is....will it happen, only i can know and make that happen.
I LOVE YOU ALL......
