ALL GREAT THINGS MUST COME TO AN END

Today was a sad day for the Litrenta Family. After being one of my best friends for almost 18 years I had to make the difficult decision to put Symba down for his forever nap. His health had been declining for a few weeks, especially in the last couple of days. When he refused Tuna I knew it was time. I took him to an animal emergency room in Springfield, Mass. and it was over so fast. They were all so nice and seemed genuinely upset for me. He will be buried in a pet cemetery (just something they do, not by my request) and we can visit him any time.

I will be posting pictures soon in memory. Now, I need to stop writing and be still......

So sorry for the loss of such a great friend. He was the best cat ever. He was a very lucky kitty to have spent his life with you. Many hugs, much love and lots of prayers. So very sad for you.

Sorry for your loss. It is very hard to say goodbye to such a loved and long time friend. Sounds like he lived a good life.

Thank you for all of the kind words. Some people would think mourning over a cat would be silly. They never met Symba.

Again, thank you. Means a lot.
