I love the fact that at the first sign of spring (for them it is a day of at least 55 degrees) my children get out there summer clothes and run around outside with out shoes, ok...sometimes flip flops.
I love the fact that my kids still run to the window or front yard to watch fire trucks go by.
I love the fact that my oldest hates to go to the library....because...she has so many books to read at home that she does not want to get any more!! OK, this is coming from a child who just a year ago hated to read and swore she couldn't and now reads all the time!!
I love the fact that although the 2 kids that my girls play with the most are boys ages 5 and 8, they don't see each other as one sex or the other but as equals who enjoy imaginative play (such as pretending they are slaying dragons or are living in the times of Laura Ingles).
I love the fact that my kids love animals as much as I do.
I love the fact that my oldest has learned cleaning skills beyond my own despite my messiness.
I love the fact that my 10 year old can cook a meal (actually she can make several things including baked chicken, pasta dinner, cake and the list goes on and on) and has been cooking since she was 8.
I love the fact that despite my 7 year old's speech and language delays, she is a social butterfly who loves to talk to anyone who will listen.
I love the fact that my children are so totally different. Each there very own.
I love the fact that even though my husband and I don't always see eye to eye on a lot of things, we have chosen a lifestyle in which to raise our kids that we both agree is in the best interest of both of them.
I love the fact that despite our individual differences, we are able to live harmoniously (most of the time) together in our home.
