The Loss of One

Sad times here. We lost one of our pets. Our snake, Mr. Slithers, past away 2 days ago. Now, most people would wonder why in the world....or....HOW in the world we could mourn the loss of a snake. He was in our family for over 4 years. Our pets, no matter what kind, are part of the family. We take each and everyone of them very seriously. Of course we each have our secret favorites and the snake was probably not on the top of any of our "favorite" lists. He was not a tame snake. He would snap at anything that came near him so we could not hold him. He was fun to watch though. We do not know how he died, it happened during the night. If you want to know how long we mourned him.....a couple of hours after he died the talks of our next snake was taking place....hahahaha, oh well. We want to get a corn snake next (well, this is Andy's project). We have been told that they are one of the most docile of snakes and you can get them in some beautiful colors. We shall see.......
