Happy Graduation!!!

We have a soon to be Graduate among us. Lisa, Andy's oldest, will be graduating from New Britain High School in June. In the fall she is heading for Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, which is southern part of state. Here is the website if anyone is interested http://www.southernct.edu/ .She has been excepted into the Honors program which mean she has gotten a Full Academic Scholarship....YAY LISA!!!!! She was one of the students chosen out of over a hundred other students who were invited to apply to the program. And not all students excepted into the program are receiving the full scholarship. Needless to say she has 2 VERY proud parents. Actually, we are all very proud of her. Of course Andy is probably driving her a little batty by talking constantly about it....Hahahaha. But, that is only because he loves her. None of us are perfect parents and Andy and I have made our share of mistakes. But one thing I can say about Andy is that he has Always made sure his children knew he loved them. He did not get that as a child, unfortunately, so he wants to make sure his children always feels loved. OK, back to Lisa...hahahahaha. Lisa has always seemed to thrive in her school work. As long as I have known her she was always with a book in her hands. She has been involved in several school clubs and even started her own this year, a writing club. Her Mother has always been supportive of her activities and allowed her to be her own person. We all know that Lisa will do wonderful in college. She has not picked her major yet, but that will come in time.
